I'm Jared, the person behind Drawn In Code. I build custom websites for businesses that want something thoughtful, polished, and shaped around the way they actually work. No template with their logo dropped in.
I've always been pulled toward the same mix of things: creative design, useful technology, and the satisfaction of building something that works in the real world. I started down the computer science path, stepped away for a while, but never stopped building websites, tools, and small systems for myself and others.
For about four years now, I've been taking this craft seriously. To me, a good website is not just about looking nice. It needs structure, clarity, clean execution, and a reason behind every decision. The goal is something intentional, dependable, and easy for your clients to trust.

I don't start with a template and try to force your business into it. I start with your goals, your services, your clients, and the kind of first impression you want to make. Sometimes that means a clean, professional site that builds trust quickly. Other times it means custom features like scheduling tools, quote forms, calendars, SEO structure, or simple systems that make your business easier to run.
Working with me is intentionally direct. You're not being passed through a big agency process or waiting on a team that barely knows your project. You work with the person designing it, building it, and thinking through the details with you.
Outside of work, I'm usually with my kids, outside somewhere, on a golf course, or messing with another software idea I probably started way too late at night.
