Marcus Reeve spent years as an aerospace coatings technician, applying protective finishes to aircraft components where failure wasn't an option. That obsession with precision followed him into the automotive world. In 2018, he opened Obsidian Detail Co. in the heart of East Austin's 6th corridor, bringing aerospace-grade standards to automotive care.
With over 8 years of hands-on experience and thousands of vehicles transformed, the shop has grown from a one-man operation into a trusted team of certified installers. But the philosophy has never changed: treat every vehicle as if it were your own, use only the best products available, and never cut corners. That's the Obsidian standard.
